CINCINNATI, OH — As the nation reflects on Black Maternal Health and prepares for Mother’s Day, author and women’s empowerment speaker Joinne’ Chandler is creating a sacred space for mothers who grieve. On Sunday, May 18, Chandler will host SereniTea™: A Healing Mother’s Day Gathering for Moms Who’ve Experienced Loss at The Hope Café @ Christ Emmanuel in Cincinnati.
This faith-centered, intimate event invites women who have experienced the loss of a child to pause, reflect, and heal in community. Inspired by Chandler’s own journey through miscarriage and her book Life After Loss: 30 Days of Hope for Moms Grieving After Miscarriage, SereniTea™ honors motherhood in all its forms.
Guests will experience:
“SereniTea™ is about making sure no woman grieves alone,” Chandler shares. “It’s a reminder that healing is possible—even in loss.”
This event builds on the mission of Life After Loss, which seeks to normalize conversations around miscarriage, build faith-based community support, and expand grief care in churches and community spaces.
Tickets are $39.99 and available now. Space is limited to maintain the intimate, supportive environment.
